Classes

When applying for a place in our classes, you will be asked to fill in a brief assessment detailing any previous experience, and what drama means to you.  By this we can then place you in the best class to suit your needs.  We want each student to be included, and to have fun at all points.  The classes should act as a way of developing your own personality, and becoming part of a team.

We cater for age groups 7-17, with each class being broken down into small groups of around 15-20. Most of the sessions are Drama Workshops, however we also cater for LAMDA exams (all ages) and Drama School Audition Preparation for our 16+ students (separate costs).

There are three ages for the groups :

* 7-10

* 11-14

* 15-17

An average Drama Workshop lasts for 1 1/2 hours and consists of Improvisations, Focus and Energy Games.  We also look at specific text pieces and explore them through group participation and one to one fine tuning.  At the end of each term we offer a Demonstration Evening, where Parents and friends can see a sample of the games and pieces we have worked on each term.  At the final end of year classes, the Workshops will be viewed by selected Industry Personnel.

We want all our students to be focused and ready to participate.  We will not accept bad behavior or intimidation to fellow students or leaders.  All students must be punctual, have a pen and paper at the ready and be ready to work for a great workshop session.
