During the Holidays, The Drama Place will not run its usual workshops.  However from time to time we offer different courses of interest.  These can be day or week long courses covering different aspects of performances.  Look out for these courses coming to you soon!

* ACTING FOR TELEVISION- a course which will see you in groups working on scripts from popular film and television.  We will look at the technical aspects of working in the television industry, and also how to approach scripts when you are short of time.  We will work on the pieces and record them using Professional television equipment and Crew.  We will then edit all the scenes on to a Show reel for you to keep and as a group we will watch and evaluate.

* SHAKESPEARE- a course which looks on The Bards work.  We will look at individual scenes within plays and work on the speech and movement within them.  This is a great course to brush up your Shakespeare skills.

* AUDITION TECHNIQUE- Mock Auditions to help even the slightly nervous.  We will stage mock Auditions for different disciplines (film, television and stage) and give feedback. We will then work on improving your audition skills so nerves are now a thing of the past! 

* LITTLE ONES- This is a course introducing drama and play to UNDER 7's.  It gives them the opportunity to see the kind of work that we do in a fun and safe environment.  Its a stepping stone into the world of drama so that when they are old enough they can come and join our team!
