Meet Donnaleigh Bailey
Professional Actress • Drama Educator • LAMDA Specialist • Confidence Coach
For over twenty years, I've had the privilege of working in the performing arts industry, both on screen as a professional actress and in education as a drama teacher, director and LAMDA specialist.
I've appeared in numerous television productions including BBC Doctors, ITV Coronation Street, Holby City and Casualty, and continue to work professionally within the industry today. Alongside my acting career, I've spent more than a decade inspiring young people through drama, directing award-nominated productions and helping hundreds of students grow in confidence both on and off the stage.
But if I'm honest...
The greatest joy of my career has never been the television credits.
It's been watching young people discover what they're capable of.
More than just drama lessons
At The Drama Place, we believe drama is about so much more than performing.
It's about helping children find their voice.
Whether your child dreams of becoming an actor, feels anxious speaking in class, struggles with confidence or simply wants a place where they feel encouraged to shine, every lesson is designed around them.
That's why every session combines creativity, communication and encouragement in a safe, supportive environment where children are free to grow at their own pace.
Why parents choose The Drama Place
Throughout my teaching career I have helped students achieve outstanding LAMDA results, with consistently high distinction rates, while also supporting those who simply want to become more confident communicators.
Every lesson is personalised.
Every child is different.
Some arrive bursting with confidence.
Others barely want to speak.
My role is never to change who they are.
It's to help them become the most confident version of themselves.

A little about me...
Outside of acting and teaching, I'm a mum to three wonderful boys, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your child.
Parents aren't simply investing in a lesson.
They're placing their confidence in another adult to encourage, inspire and nurture their child.
I never take that responsibility lightly.
Creating a positive, encouraging environment where every child feels safe to take risks, make mistakes and celebrate their achievements is at the heart of everything I do.
My Promise
Every child who walks through the door of The Drama Place deserves to feel seen, heard and valued.
Whether they're working towards a LAMDA qualification, preparing for an audition or simply building confidence for everyday life, my goal is always the same:
To help every child find their voice and believe in themselves.
